How much tile you need for a 2×3 m bathroom
A 2×3 m bathroom has 23.2 m² of walls excluding the door and 6 m² of floor. Below is how much tile each surface takes.
Walls
Net area 23.2 m² (25 − 1.8) × (1 + 10%) = 25.52 m² ÷ 0.18 m² per tile = 142 pcs. Adhesive: 23.2 m² × 4 kg/m² (8 mm notch) = 93 kg. Grout ≈ 0.5 kg/m² = 11.6 kg. The 10% reserve applies to tiles only (for trimming); adhesive and grout are by net area.
Floor
Net area 6 m² (6 − 0) × (1 + 10%) = 6.6 m² ÷ 0.09 m² per tile = 74 pcs. Adhesive: 6 m² × 4 kg/m² (8 mm notch) = 24 kg. Grout ≈ 0.5 kg/m² = 3 kg. The 10% reserve applies to tiles only (for trimming); adhesive and grout are by net area.
