Ceiling tiles
How many tiles and how much ceiling molding you need.
Tiles needed
56pcs
Packs: 7 (of 8)
Adhesive: 3 bottles
Molding: 15 running m
Recommendation
Lay out from the centre
Mark the ceiling centre (where the diagonals cross) and glue outward — trims spread evenly on every wall and the pattern stays symmetric.
How the figure is calculatedCeiling area 12 m² ÷ 0.25 m² per tile × (1 + 15%) = 56 pcs (7 packs). Molding: perimeter 14 m + 5% = 15 running m.
Start gluing from the centre of the ceiling — trimmed pieces end up at the edges and the pattern stays symmetric.
Sources and methodology
- Geometry: area ÷ tile area
- Trim = perimeter + 5% for joints
